Here are the crochet ravings of me, the projects I do, and items related to the site. I apologise Im not a great blogger, I have good intentions but get easily side tracked, especially by my crochet hook.

Apparently during the last week or so my webhoster has been upgrading which is great, but there may have been a few issues getting to the site. All should be well now.

I got my money back, it talks of pictures that arent in the book, the formatting is terrible.

This is an incredibly, and I cant stress that word enough, thin book for a craft with litterally 100’s stitches, and techniques, and how the same stitch using a different part of a stitch can turn it round etc, “Crochet Compendium: The Ultimate Collection of Crochet Techniques” is a huge leap, one it fails to pull off.. not a bad book

Is a a nice thick book (in paper, and works nice on the kindle too) with plenty of pictures and motifs and stitches.. sure it could have a load more stitches in, but its a good book, and I like it.

Right, I cant do it, or rather, I cant not do it..
This blanket has way too many errors for this early on, it is going to have to be rolled back, due to the changes in colours and all that its a long process and involves plenty of swearing.
How far back? I will do a roll back post later when Ive done it.
I have debated and bored my friends and colleauges with it, but, mistakes in my work do poke at me with pointy sticks, but, I also recognise, Im human and not perfect, so if theres 1 or 2 or only I would know such as it its 1 square off center cos I miss counted or somthing, you know, I’d actually live with that, but, this constant loss of stitch and having to remake, you can find it.. The stitches form squares and lines that run up the blanket, you only have to follow them to find its gone wrong..
So, tonight, instead of getting to the end of the second panel, I’ll be likely back at the beginning of the first.. URGH!!

I don’t understand how the more I try the worse it gets. I’m constantly counting stitches and seemingly I lose them at every opportunity! More lost stitches. I almost feel like undoing right back to the first one and starting it all again. So its right. Because this is so wrong and I’m trying so hard. But each time I pick it up I find mistakes which would mean I have to undo at least the previous days. I would never finish.
What should I do?
Its future owner said they would like it no matter what. but also then said its like going to someones house and being fed stuff you hate. You acccept and smile. I don’t want my blanket to be that. I want it to be loved. I don’t want it to be sprout and anchovie stew!

Stupid moron. I wonder why I lose stitches. Seems I can’t count days either. Yesterday was day 9. I will correct it.
Got up and noticed another joined stitch today. Seems the time space continium is bad in my house now and bubbles see forming hiding stitches from me

Incredibly disappointed. Had to undo all of yesterdays. That’s the second day thrown away. As you can see last time I was a whole panel ahead of today.
