So firstly I need to apologise that its been so long and clearly it grew. Well I had no internet for 9 days and my phone had no signal because I had no internet as I live in a black spot and need a repeater. So I’ve lost track of how many days, in fairness I usually do but have posts on here to go by!
So. Here’s how it stands tonight. Not as big as I had hoped. As I had hoped it would be nearly done. But. Its the width of the seat of my sofa, ah, there’s my tape measure. 21 inches.
So. Its growing but I’ve not done half as much as I had hoped or could have but my mind wasn’t in a crochet mood. I can’t even claim I did anything else instead I just say about.
So. Here you go

So. This is the revenge ofthe evil blanket, actually technically you could argue its worse as its with a much finer gauge yawn and both are dark, I had to turn the flash off for you to get an idea of the actual colour. This is for 1 of you out there.

So. I haven’t sewed in all the ends but everything is attached and works how I hoped. I was wrong the parts weren’t too small but ok so it now folds in 3rds not the original quarters I had intended but 3rds is easier to fold
So yes the secret is that the back of the blanket has an inside out pocket which you can use for feet when using it as a blanket and then fold it up as a pillow or you can put a smaller pillow in the pocket and wrap yourself in it.
Tada. A few ends to do but I’m really pleased with it.

Sadlythe first wasn’t quite big enough and they need to be the same size! Getting there hopefully if big enough tomorrow I can put it all together to show what it is for. Then I can do some frills. Sadly now its bed time I only got 15 mins sleep last night so need a better night tonight

According to inside crochet entrelac in the round to give a proper woven effect is supposed to be possible. Only they only show the first round they don’t explain now to do the next few rounds and to get the woven effect they claim as you can see I got to a problem point. You can’t join at the top. Nor as a right hander to the right so then. How was this supposed to work ??

Well. The border is done. And I’m annoyed with it as its puckering the blanket a bit and it was as slow as hell to do. It will probably stretch a fair bit in washing.
Now to plan and execute the secret bit. I hope it works out as well as it does in my head

So. I have the core of the blanket done just the border, ends and the “extra” bit. Which I so hope works out. Tomorrow should see the border as long as I can stay awake enough. Maybe some end sewing!

I didn’t do much day 10 to be fair and then forgot to post last night. Server was down this morning so only just now getting round to posting!
Getting almost to size now! Maybe a couple more days or so. Then I will need to work out how to do tee surprise part! Ha ha.
