End of day 6. The second tardis tunisian blanket has grown. Not as much as yesterday mind. About 8 rows till the too of the panel.
Here are the crochet ravings of me, the projects I do, and items related to the site. I apologise Im not a great blogger, I have good intentions but get easily side tracked, especially by my crochet hook.

Day 4 of the second tardis blanket. I don’t feel like I got very far this evening. I know I spent sometime counting stitches. But even so. Sigh. I guess this one is just slower

So, those of you who saw http://blog.crochet-crazy.com/2012/06/07/tardis-blanket-a-flatter-picture/ will know, and it turned out about right, that it was 180 hours of crochet, now, while I know I made few mistakes once my cough started, but, the reality is, people wont pay a lot for even something hand made, and individually made for them.
Now, if I did that as minimum wage in the UK (as per http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Employment/Employees/TheNationalMinimumWage/DG_10027201 and Im over 21) thats £6.08 an hour thats £1094.40 .. no one would pay that for the blanket would they??
No, in all honesty, if I had made mistakes and was going to get over 1000 pounds, Id have gone back and fixed the mistakes..
So, question is. How much would YOU pay? Knowing its 180 hours of work, about 23 pounds worth of materials..
Be honest.

I bought some sock wool, bloody expensive stuff, 8 quid a ball
I followed the pattern religiously even though it seems daft as crap, you know, I was right, it was daft as crap.. Was the author drunk when they came up with this as a basic sock???
Ok you chain 34, and then do 34 rows of 32 stitches in a US SC.. in a hook thats way big for the wool, so if you stretch it it turns into a kinda mesh thing but doesnt stretch back.. you then turn your work so your rows become columns and sc your way round for 2″, do a heel, in a very bizarre way then go round and round some more till you get to the toes. Crochet doesnt stretch, so as a result, none of this sock would stretch..
As a result this thing looked like a monstrosity, thankfully I had done it without cutting the yarn and undid the whole thing..
So, as I had hoped to make a load of socks and have currently 3 balls and have another 10 (thankfully cheaper but still…) on the way
What do you do with sock yarn if socks and crochet just turn out bad? and I dont want t knit them
