I bought a new sturdy looking wool winder and it makes a very neat job of the wool. See ball in photo

My solution to the wall winding pains. Ball of wool goes in carrier bag on the iron holder. Which is held on by 1 handle. The wool goes through the loop in the other. I can then clamp the winder easily on the board. Yay
