Here are the crochet ravings of me, the projects I do, and items related to the site. I apologise Im not a great blogger, I have good intentions but get easily side tracked, especially by my crochet hook.

So. I have mentioned I started a new piece. This is it.
In effect this is crochet ribbing. Done by back and front post double crochets (US terminology)
Its a 4mm hook and 3 ply wool. So its slow going. But its nice

Ive started a new baby blanket, this one is mainly going to be white, with a little blue for a little baby boy. I’d have done a picture one but when you dont know the family, a generic blanket is often nice. So, Im about 2″ in so far, I started tonight. Pictures will come

So, I got round to finishing sewing all the ends, now I can give it to its rightful owner. Shame theres no work tomorrow as well, shes at work.
Least Im done. I can do the next project now. Also, I just realised this week came up a bit fast, I meant to place my wool order so they could hopefully deliver while Im off. Not gonna happen now. Will have to work out some more use of time off later.

So. Only got the end sewing to go. And maybe a bit more on the border.
I tried blue and white as a border but it was just wishy-washy. So. Black it is. Makes it slightly less baby like I know. But. I hope she likes it.

So. In 3 more lines I will have finished his head. Then I have about 25 lines of blue to do to complete the core blanket. Not looking too bad huh?

Sadly I didn’t wind these. I know its a bad quality photo. But can you see the mess? Especially the big knot where they’ve twisted together at the bottom?

So, I’ve started a new baby blanket. A girl at work – shes really nice, is expecting a baby boy in June/July ish.
So, this is what I hope to make her 🙂
