Here are the crochet ravings of me, the projects I do, and items related to the site. I apologise Im not a great blogger, I have good intentions but get easily side tracked, especially by my crochet hook.

Managed another 6 rows today. The more I see of that last divider the more I swear its wrong. But that’s the pattern as its written. Shame. It looks wrong

Managed 6 rows of the last panel. I’m not happy with the border line between these panels. Its too wide on both sides compared to all the other bits. 🙁

I finally finished the middle panel. Now on to the next! Its really hard to imagine each panel is only 30 rows. 30 rows of tunisian is about a days work! So this does seem to grow so slowly.
I do like the zigzag Patten.
For some reason I feel this should have been red and white, or red and black. At worst some other strong primary colour and black.
Well. Let’s see how the new Patten goes.

I should have posted this last night. But. I forgot when a bug in my favor showed up in a crappy game I tend to play. You earn points and spend them on improvements. Only it wasn’t deducting the cost so I could buy loads of things. Eg anything under the value I had and as many of them as I wanted.
I now have 2 rows to go before the next divider and the last panel!

Ok. My friend Dave on google plus does plenty of this and he has inspired me to try it.
This is the first time I picked up knitting needles in a long time. I was impressed I could cast on and remember knit and purl.
I haven’t started any form of pattern so really this was supposed to be red one side white the other.

Just over half way!
Tonight I had a bit of a furry helper as shown but its over half way. I am thinking now I should have enough wool. hopefully!

So annoyed. I was counting rows as the pattern said finish at nearest whole of the 6 row pattern to 19″ next thing I knew it was was top long and I had to roll back 6 rows.
But I’m on to the middle panel now. Still convinced I won’t have enough wool. But I will need to get nearer the end before I order. Wouldn’t want to order more than I need. Sigh.
