Here are the crochet ravings of me, the projects I do, and items related to the site. I apologise Im not a great blogger, I have good intentions but get easily side tracked, especially by my crochet hook.

As you can see its is more rectangular now. Probably not far from completion. Wondering what to make next. As always a few ideas but I do so love my blankets.

I have got the point where I’m only working one side at the moment to make it less square more rectangle. Once its basically taller than me or at least hearly I shall decide if it needs to be wider or not.

Have you got this book?
Well, I bought it – as you know Im truly interested in making some crochet socks, and this sounded great – I can do the double ended crochet in some levels so I was excited to try this. Only Im feeling like I have an IQ smaller than my hooksize.
Near the front it shows a square and putting double ended hooks on each side… and it shows a picture for the triangle/circle work for sock type thing, but there is very little explaining how to do it!!!
Can anyone explain to me how to do this??

So. I had another go at nooking. The first few rows I did going with what felt right. Then after some swearing I re read the book ad followed instructions. It works better when you have the chord doubled over but then its not really even long enough for this scarf width. Without it the stitches on the thread tend to pull tighter and are harder to work with.
Sorry world this is knitting. But you use a piece of chord not a needle for the other side making it harder to do
Sorry. But if I want to knit. I will get out the knitting needles. There is no way this will ever be faster or easier.

So. Its abouit time I posted an update on this entrelac. Its still growing. it is slower than the previous which you made a diamond really and always filled in the holes. That grew quick because there was no fiddle. This has fiddle. Its just what I wanted but it is growing slower.

OK. This is basically finished now. But to give a better view of what it looks like. It needs blocking as its curled at the edges.
So. The ends are tunisian rib. with a cable in the middle of modified simple stitch. With a purl either side of the cable

My chest infection has had me tired and unable to concentrate much recently. So I am glad to say I am feeling better enough that my blanket has grown again

Well. Here they are upon my very own feet. Its actually quite nice that the stripes have come out the same on both feet. Once I’ve tidied up the ends you could almost pretend I bought them. So pleased considering I did it without a pattern!
They would definitely benefit from a longer up the leg portion, but they are actually really quite walm considering how thin the wool is!

Hopefully I can finish red sock this weekend. Now I know the balls of wool have much more yarn in them I know I can make the leg bit much longer. I wonder how much…
