So. I just finished the second sock.. They are as similar as I was going to get without counting rows.. But there we go.. Now I have 2 ends to sew and I could venture out in public…
They both fit great which is always a plus.
Hopefully Christmas dinner will be ready in about half hour.

So, the moonstone blanket grows slowly, so a sock diversion was in order. Meet sock #1
Only thing that could have been better was the cast off, it needed to stretch a bite more, but, otherwise it’s a very nice sock

Well, it should have grown and I thought I didn’t do too bad this week, but, I confess, I can’t see much of a change from last week. It is beginning to blur a little in terms of where I was and where I am because it’s the same.

Well, it hasn’t grown as much as I would like this week, many reasons had to work yesterday, got a stinking cough that’s been driving me mad and made me tired and uncomfortable, but, it did grow. More this week 🙂

OK, so Ive mapped out the size, and while I need to chop out the two bottom corners so it fits round the posts on my bed, I need to work out what I want to do with the middle, as at the moment.. if I dont, you’ll see the problem..
No, you arent imagining it, it does look like a migraine waiting to happen. So..
What to do? Well, I could do a big diamond in the middle, but, in some ways I think if it was too plain it would look wrong. So, what to do? I cant help but think a big diamond with some celtic knot in the middle.. what do you think?

I would like to thank the Woolstack for being so ace.
Why?
Well, following the traumatic cable break, I ordered a replacement, and as a note to them as it was the last one in stock, without meaning it as any slight on them I told them the one I had bought less than a month back broke, so could they get some in stock if I was going to be this lucky… as my projects only going to get heavier… and.. Love them, they refunded me the cable.. so replaced it.. How cool??
I can honestly say they are ace..

Despite a bit of a scare yesterday when the cable snapped and a large bunch of stitches made a break for freedom, I’m glad to report reasonable progress, and ordering of replacement cable.

Had a op on my knee Thursday, it’s been really sore, knitting wasn’t really on the cards much for a couple of days. But here’s the latest pic.
