My solution to the wall winding pains. Ball of wool goes in carrier bag on the iron holder. Which is held on by 1 handle. The wool goes through the loop in the other. I can then clamp the winder easily on the board. Yay

It didnt take too long and because the back isnt as tidy as usual because I carried the black and white while switching it, there werent many ends, so its all done! Its sitting on a 3 seater sofa so you can see its of reasonable size. I made it so I can snuggle under [...]
